The Wauchula Police Department is asking for the public’s help in a commercial burglary investigation.
Between 5:00am, Thursday, November 17, 2011 and 8:00am, Monday, November 21, 2011, an unknown subject(s) burglarized Heartland Pump and Tank located at 331 N 4th Ave, Wauchula.
The subject(s) entered into the business by using bolt cutters to cut the security fence around the business. Sever...al tools to include: power tools, vehicle batteries, and a Craftsmans tool bag filled with miscellaneous hand tools and other items were taken.

UNSOLVED HOMICIDE
On December 1, 2007, Mia Hua Wang, age 27, was murdered at the China Buffett Restaurant in Wauchula, Florida. Mr. Wang worked at the restaurant and was killed in during what is believed to be a robbery.

Armed Robbery at Hess Express
On 12/25/10 at approximately 2126 hrs, a Hispanic male subject entered into the Hess Express located at 101 W Oak St wearing a black colored hooded jacket and mask.
The subject wearing all black clothing entered the store through the exit (west) door. The clerk advised that as the male subject entered the door, he took a step towards the register at which time he observed the subject remove a black colored semi-automatic handgun from his waistband. The subject then pointed the weapon at the clerk and threw a dark colored bag at him and stated, "Give me everything you got".
Once the case drawer was opened he began to fill the bag with the money from the drawer, the subject then reached over the counter and removed the cash till from the drawer and began placing the money from the till into the bag. While the subject was removing the money from the cash drawer he ordered the clerk to place some Newport cigarettes into the bag. The subject then subject fled the area on foot.

04-22-2011 Home Invasion / Robbery at Wauchula Machine shop Located on North Florida Ave. Wauchula.
Wauchula Police Detectives are seeking information on a Home Invasion / Robbery that occurred on Friday 04/22/2011
Victim arrived to his place of business/residence at approximately 0145 hours. After entering his business and proceeding upstairs to his small apartment on the second floor, the victim was immediately attacked by two unknown possibly black males in possession of shotguns and handguns and forced to sit in the middle of the apartment floor. The suspects told the victim to tell the location of any cash or guns that may be located within the building or he would be killed. After locating the guns, cash and the keys to the victim's car, the suspects used duck tape and plastic zip ties to secure the victim and place him in a chair. Suspects then fled the area driving the victim's car. The suspects told the victim he could find his car at a convenience store in Ft. Meade with the keys under the driver's side floor mat
The car was located the next day abandoned in a citrus grove in north Hardee County.
Several guns were removed from the apartment one being a North American model GHG-L .22 Long Rifle
Suspects were wearing black ski mask and black clothing with cloth gloves.
The victim was able to see small portions of the suspects bare skin during the incident and was able to identify the two as being black males.

Wauchula Detectives are asking for the public's help in a Theft investigation.
On January 18, 2012, two unknown white male suspect entered the Wally Wash located at 938 S 6th Ave. and stole money from both coin machines. The descriptions of the suspects are as followed;
