On 01/04/12 at approximately 1842 hours, Officers were dispatched to 505 N 6th Ave. (Hardee Car Company) in reference to an auto theft. The owner, Hill stated that he had a W/M subject (later identified as Skinner) come into the dealership, and ask to test drive a car. The subject had been test driving a Ford Mustang for the past three days, and had returned the vehicle each day. On this day Hill stated that he gave the subject the keys to a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am, red in color, and affixed a dealer license plate to the vehicle (NC381A). The subject drove the vehicle off the lot, and had not returned with the vehicle after 3 hrs. Hill advised officers that the subject had left his vehicle at the lot, a 2002 Toyota Sienna.
Upon running the plate officers discovered that the vehicle the subject left at the lot was stolen from Leon County, and Robert Skinner was the suspect. Hill was shown Skinner's photograph, in which he advised that Skinner was the W/M subject that had taken the Grand Am.
