Wauchula Police Department

Thomas R. Harris was employed by the Wauchula Police Department at a part-time police officer in 1994. In 1995 he was hired as a full time police officer and worked his way through the ranks to Captain. Thomas Harris was born in Greenville, NC. he received his High School Diploma in 1982. In 1983 he began his Law Enforcement career with the Zolfo Springs Police Department. Capt. Harris has contributed more the 25 years of public service to the community. He has been married for more then 14 years and has one child and two stepsons.
