Accreditation

The Wauchula Police Department is the first Law Enforcement agency of Hardee County to be Accredited through the Commission For Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc.  The department has been accredited since 1999 and is currently working on the 4th accreditation cycle.

Officer Maria Rojas-Quinn, Accreditation Manager for the department is responsible for ensuring that the department is compliant with the standards required by the accreditation process.  As well as reviewing, maintaining and writing the departments standard operating procedures. 
Other responsibilities include review all department forms, brochures, and publications, all must meet department policies and be in compliance with the accreditation standards before being disseminated.
